From this latest video looks like the target market is folks with anorexia nervosa so this will help make the bike more aerodynamic and reduce Wh/km...

The very first scooter posted with the funky black and white body panels is very appealing to me. It looks very comfortable and practical. The other concepts linked after are either too small or they are gas. The last one with the skinny girl is a beautiful work of design but not practical. No rear fender and not much for expansion for more storage like saddle bags or a bubble. I wish they'd stop making concepts and come out with an e-scooter people can buy and use.
Is it ready yet?

BMW Motorrad enters a new level in mobility. This is the world-premiere of the first BMW scooters. You can see them at the EICMA 2011.
The Maxi-Scooters BMW C 600 Sport and C 650 GT will be available from spring 2012. They stand for the future of urban mobility.

sweet! maybe the electric version will follow...

I love the part in the last video at 6 minutes where the road cyclist keeps up and then passes the camera/scooter. Likely downhill, but still...
Mush! Mush you electrons! Push harder!
Main ride: Old School Specialized Stumpjumper FSR, Clyte HT3540, 63v lifepo4, 12fet Infineon set to 26amps. And a bunch of others... viewtopic.php?f=6&t=34236&p=497325#p497325.
