I have a 48v 20ah A123 pack and I use 16 voltphreak charger using anderson connector. As you can imagine, 16 pair of anderson connector is quite bulky. Does anyone know where I could find a smaller, multi-port connector I could use? Thanks.

Hi,

This is what you want:

Hi,

You can then wire the outputs up in series, with a 17-pin AMP 4.2mm PE plug that can connect into the matching connector on the front of the LVC board.

Three options for finding a "17-pin AMP 4.2mm PE plug":
1. Check with Mouser.
2. Google.
3. Send Gary a PM.

FYI Ypedal posted this somewhere:
I suggest a 2 pin connector externally available per cell, this makes using one
charger or multiple charger, etc.. without the need for a multiping connector ..
if one charger bites the dust you don't have to rework the connector.

FYI Those Voltphreak chargers get HOT.. hook them up alternating outward on a
strip In / Out / In / Out instead of all next to each other if possible.

from memory this use of chargers very close together had a side effect that the chargers overheated and died in some cases. Has anyone actually managed to cut the voltfreaks chargers open and mount them securely in a plastic case?
