Postby hopbot » Tue Aug 14, 2007 9:53 am

hey there all, i have the LiFePO4 (what;s the correct pronunciation for this BTW? ) from Cyclone TW (they changed the description now, but it used to be listed as a 17Ah 24V pack http://www.cyclone-tw.com/lithium.htm). i got the charger they sent with it but wanted to know if there was something smaller i can rig into the battery bag so i can charge at my destination.

Lithium iron phosphate.

not sure on the charger questions - i'll delegate that to one of the more experienced guys. There are lots of charger options -not sure about small ones though.

Thanks BiGH! i didnt know if i had to use the whole term or try and pronounce "Life Po Four" ;)

Also, a total noob question: i've looked around but cant seem to find a simple layman's explanation of how to maintain my LiFePO4 pack - do i wait until the pack is depleted to pop it on the charger, r do i plug it in after every outing? do i pull it off the charger when it's back at 100%
