You don't have to bypass the BMS if you don't want to. For an installation that doesn't touch the packs (warrany issues) you just need to avoid pulling more than 15A. The cells are capable of much more than 15A, which is why some users choose to bypass the smd fuse and tap directly from the cells. Four parallel packs provide 60A, which is plenty of amps for "normal" folk.

Drawing power from the two spades connectors still bypasses any current sensing or cutoff that are present on the pack's BMS, so you will need to have a separate means of avoiding an overdischarge condition.
