First when did you discharged battery full last time
TF hub battery must be discharged until Lvc lights blinking on dash from time to time to calibrate batt State of Charge
indicator.
Do it first

Thanks for the reply miro13car,
I fully discharge my battery right before my problem comes up.
I will try to discharge all my battery until the dash board show a blinking lights,After that, plug in to the charger again?

Is that what u mean?

Yes until lights blink and until throttle is dead
Also I would disconnect all data connectors on bike and power connectors wait say 15 minutes and connect all together
This should do full reset

Hi miro13 car,

I did fully discharge the bike and unplug all the connector for 2hrs
after that i plug in the HP8208 36v charger again , it is charging the battery up to 80% (4 LED light blinking) and it turns into green light and stop charging again.
comparing to the last time, the charger charge longer time...but it still cant fully charge the battery
can u plz give me some more advice for what to do next?

Yes , definitely a improvement .
I hav no idea how old it is, and how many mileage on it
But with all these happened to my battery , does it mean it's dying very soon?
Thanks for helping!

Jeff
I love /I think we should not use word "love" for not living thing but I cannot resist/ my TF and its superbly smooth operation , it is the BEST out there if it comes to smoothness of operation.
You maybe think of TF as just another ebike,
DO NOT think like that
TF is one of the kind for sure in North America, you have a treasure in your hand.
Except battery. TF is not new design and close to 10 years old, battery choice is what it was at the time of design.
I tried all kind of ebikes China brands I don't want to call them names.
Being technical person I appreciate technically superb designes.
China brand Izip from Wallmart is a hub ebike and Tidal Force is a hub ebike, but they are like day and night in terms of reliability and operation.

But going back to TF hub battery. On my TF it lasted only 3 seasons and in 3rd year slowely started deteriorate just like Nickel baterries slowely.
By design SOC batt indicator will not show last LED when battery lost about 20% of capacity.
Not to be accused of "spreading misinformation" as one member in his fit of bad day called me I will tell where exactely it is written:
"Use,Care and Maintenance of Your TF HIGH Performance Electric Bicycle Battery" booklet included with every TF manual.
I have been riding my TF for long time close to 4 years on LiFePo battery which does not show even a hint of deterioration after 4 years of use /June 2008 installed/
cellman member sells A123 batteries and can build one for you.
Or if you are traditionalist LEVT Light Electric Vehicles Technologies are still very trusted service company for every TF!!!
I am sending my motor there also.
