wiring inside an XLR connector for Infineon 35A controller?

I accidentally pulled the XLR connector off the end of my Infineon 35A
controller supplied by Cycle 9. I was glad to find that it appears easily repairable and
nothing was damaged.

The controller labels that the brown wire going out is positive and the
blue one is ground.

My question is to confirm which pins in the XLR that these should
connect to. I might guess "positive -> 1", "negative -> 2".

Could any one confirm? I tried to self-service my answer by hunting for the
controller manual online, but couldn't find it anywhere. Perhaps the answer to this question is specific to how Cycle 9 prepared the controller for me, but I thought I'd ask here for advice in case there's a most-likely answer.

Thanks!

So my question was confused: the XLR connector goes to the charger the controller. It was correct it my head, but I certainly asked about it wrong. Luckily, Kristen at Cycle 9 knew what I meant anyway, and provided a perfect answer. It's fixed for me know. Here's her reply:

Hi Mark,

It sounds like you're talking about the battery charger, not the Infineon
controller, which may be the reason you're having trouble finding info
online. The charger XLR (microphone plug) should be wired so that the
brown/positive wire goes to pin 1, and the blue/negative wire goes to pin
2. Pin 3 is not used for that particular charger. You can confirm by
checking the polarity of the mating XLR plug on your battery: when your
voltmeter is set to "DC", and you have the red/positive voltmeter lead
stuck into slot 1, and the black/negative lead stuck into slot 2, the
voltage should read correctly.

When you go to solder the charger wires back onto the XLR lugs, you should
strip back only enough insulation to cover the exposed metal, and use heat
shrink tubing to insulate the final joints.
