ow about some info on the sender side..and the app for the phone. Looks like a neat unit

Well yes, a bit of info, pictures of it, what the sender unit actually is etc etc, how we can make one, get one, etc
So far all we can see is a vid of some bars flashing up on the screen of the phone

Or are you purposely keeping all details secret purposely. If you are planning on marketing it I can understand need for not giving too much away, but so far we do not even know if this is a stand alone box, something you can fit inside the controller, part of the battery pack, a plug in shunt type module like a stand alone CA uses or anything... or did I miss a bit of the video?

i wasn't sure that much detail is needed or wanted, after all everyone here in the e-bike biz waaay more then me, so i thought everyone knows better, it's not standalone, it's on my android..

Of course detailed is needed, in case one of us wants to do what you have done.
So far all we see is a wheel spinning and bars on the phone, the two could be totally un connected.

So it is hard wired to the android? From what we see on the video it could be showing a sound level or frequency meter
Did you write the app?

ok, yea, in that case i'm gonna need to do another you tube video, detailing the dc to dc converter, usage, where to get the parts, what it looks like, friday i'll have time..(youtube only allows 10 minutes right?0

That would be great...but maybe no need for video, ..just a few stills.

What is it you are actually using? is it wireless connection to the android? bluetooth? or hardwired?
the sender / measurement unit..where is it? battery ? controller?
something you built yourself or pre built unts

what actually is it giving a readout of?

From video it looks like voltage, speed..angle..and then at 21 seconds something else briefly pops up in the display

Since the main point of this forum is to discuss store knowledge of various EV-related stuff, especially DIY-type things, so taht others can replicate or borrow ideas from such things, it would be much better if you typed it all up and posted it directly here on ES, where it will be preserved, rather than an external site where stuff gets deleted or blocked by YT on a regular basis for no apparent reason. (over the years, some of my own vids have gone "missing"--some for long periods, some permanently; one supposedly for a copyright claim when I'm the one that made the vid taken of my own creations and it hasn't any music or even soundtrack).

Still pics is all that's really needed, which you can upload directly to your posts.

All taht said--thanks for posting your creation! :)

Thanks, I've been tempted to get an Android phone for sat nav so being able to do something like this would be handy also.

I've coded some Arduino stuff in the past, I'm guessing IOIO code similar?

Hey, it's nice to see another UK member on here, I'm in Somerset right now so not a million miles from Exeter. :)
