I have a hub motor that I cant find any information on. I have a new control and have not been able to get it and the motor to speak to each other. will post photos if it will help, the hub motor is labeled madea. cant find any thing on it. fairly sure it came out of china. bike seems to be of good quality.

Keep trying various combinations. one of them will eventually be found that will turn the motor forward. Sometimes it takes me 5 min, sometimes 2 days for some dumb reason I can't figure out.

Check that you have 5v between the red and black throttle or PAS wires. If not, it's nothing to do with the motor/controller connections because your controller is switched off. Did you connect the ignition/key-lock wire?
