Connecting V Power LiFePo4 battery to my controller

I have just received a V Power LiFePo4 and 48v 1000W kit, and have started installing it on my bike. This is my first time trying out an ebike, just for fun, so I went with the cheap option.

However, since I have very little understanding of electrical systems, I have encountered a problem. I don't know how to connect the battery to the controller, since it doesn't simply have a male-female clip.

I have attached a picture. If anyone could help me, it would be really appreciated! I just want to learn, and I couldn't find the information I needed elsewhere.

A- the +/- cables running out from the controller (blue at tips)
B- the +/- clip that attaches to the battery during charging
C- the +/- cables running out from the BMS
D- the white wires coming from the battery, and the +/- clip that attaches to the BMS clip

You need to choose from a small number of options for a connector. Bullet, deans and anderson are some options to choose from. I recommend anderson power pole.

Thank you so much for the tip!

as far as the Anderson power poles go, would I also just chop off the connectors they gave me coming from the controller, strip the wire back and crimp it on? and 30amps is probably the one to get?

And so I would put one of these on the wires coming from the controller, and another on the wires coming from the BMS? And then they just connect to each other?

And it should be wired: Battery->BMS->Controller?

Which amp capacity(for the connector) to choose depends on the amount of amps you'll be using. To find amps it's watts divided by volts. If your setup is really only going to draw 20amps, then a 30amp connector will probably work out fine.

Yes, the connectors mate, you need 1 on each wire so you can plug them into one another, so you'd need 4 in total. These connectors are unisex. A word of caution, there will be a bit of a spark when you make the connection unless you setup a pre-charge. https://www.endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=61602&p=920609&hilit=+precharge#p920609 An example.

This sounds correct to me.
