Wasn't sure if this was the best spot to post in but should be ok.

Would two of these wired in series make a decent ebike battery?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/A123-16-Cell-8S2P-26-4V9-2AH-motorbike-battery-starter-with-black-case-/201209153745?pt=US_Rechargeable_Batteries&hash=item2ed90008d1

I have no idea of their discharge rating, but if it's anything much over 2C it seems to be a fairly viable option for A123 batteries.

The AH is a little lower than what I had hoped, but for the cost and quality of the A123 cells it seems VERY cheap...

Or they will custom weld up these cells for you

(around 170 would be needed...)

Ok this ebay seller has a ton of the A123 batteries in different formats, so basically this has now turned into a thread about the quality of Sz_ohmygod 's work and verification of the batterie's genuine-ness :p

Cells from this ad are actually 2.5Ah, so the whole pack is 5Ah and 24V. I would never buy from someone who lies. And cells are 30C, so more then enough.

You should buy some lion cells, like panasonic Pf, they have almost three times bigger capacity per volume, and they are 3.5C cells. And they are also cheaper.
