Hi! I'm building a beach cruiser ebike, already bought a 48V 20Ah liPo Battery and I'm looking for the ideal kit or to buy a motor and a separate controller, but there's too much information,
wattage, front and rear controller amperage, brands,

I live in Medellin, Colombia and as you can see... we have plenty of hills

Im not heavy (58 Kg - 128 lb) but the steel cruiser is,

I was thinking on a 1000W motor, how many of you have this configuration (48V 20Ah 1000w gearless motor)?.
how many amps you controller delivers?

how many miles per charge, speed, is it good for climbing hills?

I was looking at this following kits:
golden motor's black magic and magic pie 3 and 4

this kit from aliExpress:

Thank you!

yes I already saw that, awesome threads by the way! but I'm looking for someone that have a similar kit to tell me how much mileage per charge and speed is getting, and wich controller does he have and the Amperes it delivers! for example, your MAC, I could buy different controllers: 25A, 30A, 40A.

At your weight (under 150 lbs) I wouldn't worry too much about the hills. The 1500W motor looks like a good choice. Range with a 20ah 48v battery will depend greatly on the terrain and the speed you ride. Could be anywhere from 10-50 miles. 25 miles should be easy to get if you don't hot rod it.
