I have A BMC 48501008 controller with 5 single wire jumpers red, white, blue, black, and green. Does anyone know what each jumper function is? I can't find any information on this controller. Thanks

You might try calling Hi-Power Cycles (HPC). They sell BMC kits and are generally knowledgeable.

If it's a similar controller to the one I have, you'll have:

- Slow start (prevents hitting the motor with full torque instantly and helps protect the motor)
- 35A/50A setting
- Voltage selection (possibly)

There may also be some jumpers related to regen braking.

The person you obtained it from should be providing information as well, though.

Got the engineering drawing of the BMC controller from High Power Cycles. For anyone who is interested ,the jumper functions are as follows: green FWD open, REV short; red 48V open, 36V short; black high speed open, low speed short; blue high start torque open, soft start torque short. The white wire was not addressed on the drawing, possibly it is an amperage limit?
