Castle Creations 160A 16S/20S

Since I know the brand Castle Creations (2-3 years) they had a picture of a SHV (Super High Voltage) controller on their specialprojects page (http://www.castlespecialprojects.com), this controller was never released and this project was stopped in 2007 according to Patrick del Cast (owner of CC).




Today I read something interesting at a RC forum... I quote Patrick:

This project got put on hold in late 2007, and just recently got reopened. Our first product will likely be a 160A, 16S controller.

Don't know if we are going to do a 20S controller in the near future.... safety issues are the main concern.

I'm VERY curious about this ESC. It will probably be a very nice controller for E-Bike's as it goes up to 16S or maybe up to 20S. (Right now RC controllers are all limited to 12S, a few exceptions: MGM and Schulze)

Some day hopefully an 18s esc will be available... hopefully soon, for the new Turnigy CA120-70 motor..
