I decided to share with you my project, by the way apologize for my English, the project has been going on for quite some time, I then start it, then throw it, but I'm determined to finish it.
It is based on the frame of the Electra 8.

And now the process, the construction of the front fork,I always wanted to have a springer fork, but those that are made for bicycles, rubbish......
Those that are made for motorcycles are too heavy, so remains one choice-
to build my own, massive and light.
First, I replaced the bearings on a more powerful and undertook the construction of the fork:

All this happened a few years ago, I recently took up this project again.
And made a little more detail for the forks, while refined the the ones that I have done before
The result was this such a constructor of a series of Do It Yourself:

Thanks 8)
I do not know what it means (Cro-Mo) But the whole fork is made of 6061T6 aluminum

Since the new tires are much wider than my rear fork i had to convert it into a wider version

Incredible good work, thats some nice fabbing. Do you have cnc machines, or do you do all the work manually?

Brilliant work! It looks like there is nothing you can't fabricate.
I would love to have a mill, lathe and the skills to do what you have done.
Thanks for sharing.
