Hi members.

Sharing another build with you that I helped a friend with. Any questions feel free to ask. Hope I can help ES members in some way.
I always like to look at pics to see how people have done stuff.
I like the way we did this one. The motor and jackshaft assembly will get two extra brackets as at the moment the frame is bending under torque
The motor used is MY1020. 36V. 2050rpm

nice built :)
the frame is bending under torque
wasn't made for such abuse. That is why mounting the motor to the botton bracket directly is the prefered method. You can use self made sheets that take the forces.

That will be great to mount it there, but the motor was far to wide :(
I will sometime, use that method :)

Its a very simple method :D
And the jackshaft is so much better than the one I made for my first build http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=58634
At the moment both bike are gathering dust as we are struggling to get batteries that are affordable for us :(
It will last to give a blast

my first and second ones where far from optimal either :) I forgot the sheet that takes the chain load either at first.. but added it later

I propose you try that too.. all middrives must have such a sheet to the BB.
