Hmmm, interesting concept, but 19 MPH for only 15 miles?! I'd say it's time to put some serious power to that trailer, I bet Dr. Bass would have it doing 70MPH in no time!

You know they had me until they said 250Watt Motor?!!?!?!

I know that some countries have that as the max you can have, but maybe they have a larger motor model for the USA.

Either way it's still a great concept! If it takes a heavy loaded down cargo bike to get the biking purists to see the light, so be it.

Just found a review on this and I figured I'd bring it out of the ether:

I was never a huge fan of the pusher trailer idea, but I got to say that the design has really won me over. It's suppose to go for around 500 bucks, so if you could score one, swap out the battery pack, and drop in a brushless motor, that thing could be lethal... 8)

It wouldn't be too hard to convert the extrawheel trailer over to a pusher with just adding a hubmotor. Could be fun. I know the pusher trailer idea isn't a new one, but I just thought the ridekick was a really nice design, even forgetting the fact that they used low end motor and battery.

The handling might be a bit squirly with a single wheel though, wouldn't you think?
