Nope just a pic of the apartments they built across the street in it's native colors. Not the neighborhood I moved into 30 years back. Username is cuz I picked up a cheeseburger wrapper from the seat of a buss to throw it away. Had a syringe in it I got stuck and now have Hep-C. Tried for 15 minutes to find a usable username and they were all taken so tried this and it werqed. Such is life what doesn't kill you, only makes you miserable, or is that only makes you stronger? Guess it depends on the day. ;^)

portland really is a wonderful town. anybody who can ruff it at my place while i work on it, can charge their bike and crash here anytime. i promise to get some beer for kingfish when he comes by again.

what is so neat is this area of portland where duane lives has been taken over by suburbia. it used to be a long way out of the city, but you could ride the trolley all the way there, and good trolley service too, famous for some lakes and the farms. looks out over the columbia after it opens up from the columbia gorge. his bike paths are in some neat places.

down in the city here, platted from 1900 or so, we still have horse rings in the curbs here from when the guy who brought your sawdust for the stove, would hitch his horse when he dumped the wagon.

now people place little plastic horses on the curb next to them and hitch the horses up to the rings with a zip tie. it is a neat neighborhood artsy thing people do around here. so many people do art in their yard, people have totally repainted street intersections a few blocks over. there is a culture of two story bike people who ride around at night with the flourescent leds on their spokes, way cool. and then i see ebikes a lot more now, and escooters too, but this place is rockin.

Does the map not work anymore? Clicking doesn't place a marker.

Seems like there maybe an overall limitation to how many people can pinn themselves on the map. Its moving rather slow.

The all-arounder: 8T MAC motor on a Trek 4500.
The girlfriend bike: 350W front MAC on a 700c Trek.
The wheelie machine: 20" Rear Magic Pie II on a Trek 4300 MTB

Some of the older links must have been "auto-pruned" before the pruning feature was diabled.

I am Ron, and I live in North East Kansas, near Manhattan/Junction-City,/Ft Riley...right on the interstate-70, two hours west of Kansas City.

Anybody in or near San Bernardino, CA want to go for a ride? There's only three people in my area I know of with ebikes and I'm one of them. There's a guy that builds ebikes but never rides them and my roommate who only rides to work and the grocery store.
