e+ motor

Postby dude1 » Mon May 21, 2012 12:33 am

e-bike newb that is just curious...
is a E+ 1000w motor useful if you only have the motor? can i use other ebike components to make a bike? or do they have to be the ones from a E+ kit
is it for example compatible with my newly acquired TF m-750 (500w ver) i knowif i wanted to change it for something with more power, i ask because i got a offer for a lightly used E+ 1000w motor for $150, and im wondering if its worth it

thanks

dude1,
Electronics in Eplus motor communicate with other components of Eplus like display via RS485 4 wire ports using software designed by EMS;
Just like in Bionx and Tidal Force, E+ is controlled/governed by software..
It might look like but it is completely diffrent animal than China brand motor which use external controllers and do not communicate with anything , because there are no eledctronics inside.
