Where can I find this motor?
"The Tongxin motors have also been re-branded as ethinkar / Nuergy / Tarn"

Thanks,

Tom

Ebikes.ca has them.

The Outrider that ebikes.ca is not the same. The outrider uses plastic gears and the Tongxin uses rollers, making it almost silent.

Does anyone know where or if the Tongxin with the rollers can be purchased anywhere?

Keyde motors has roller motors in up to 17:1 ratios. I still would have to see a few of them hold up for a while before I would consider purchase. My old tongxin lasted 4.5 miles before it broke. I would sure consider the Outrider, Cute 100h or the MXUS geared one before Tongxin. It is a brilliant idea done poorly.

Yep, keyde. But I'd use the gearmotor version.

Funny to see how far I've come since the OP in May of last year. Necro responses are funny...

I finally did buy a small geared motor for a project. I like the little tough guys from BMS Q100. Messing with one in the morning.
