Hi I have recently bought some statorade for my hub motor, I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if I drill a very small hole in the side of the hub and inject the statorade directly into the hub will this work ok and get to the magnet surface between the two magnets or is it better to pull the whole hub apart and cover the magnets. I'm hoping not to go down this track as it's a lot more work. Does anyone have experience with this. It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Ben.

I just drilled a hole, but you need to make sure the drill doesn't hit anything inside and you want to avoid getting any drill chips inside (vacuum cleaner while drilling). The ferrofluid will just run down the side of the motor housing and stick to the first magnet it finds. When the motor runs, it will get spread out evenly over time.
