Picked up some carbon 30mm internal width wheels, and just ordered some Schwalbe marathon plus 29er, 45mm tires. The rims, being wide, have 45 max pressure. I called the mfg, and they said, using it on pavement, with full suspension, set cushy, I could easily get away with 5 pounds more air. So, the tires have a 70 pound limit, and the old tires, were same but 32mm. Ran at 65 pounds.

So, my wheels, are carbon, wide, and aeroish, with wide tire, flattened tread. Where do you think I should run air, for best feel and least resistance? I could sneak maybe 53 pounds, if it would help.

This gives me a LOT of contact patch, and due to carbon, a light wheel assembly for contact patch and width.
