Thanks JD for that information. I picked up a ThudBuster on eBay and need that adapter. I used some rolled up aluminum sheeting for now but it keeps slipping. Hopefully, the TB spacer will eliminate that slipping and just fit and hold.

Thought I'd give the post a bump by asking a question: What torque arms have you found mate up to the built in bracket on the TF frame? I'm going to use a Bafang and 160mm rear disc (hopefully this clears the bracket too!)

Ok, I found info on the size of the frames from Tidal Force, they are 17in. if I'm not mistaken?

And I'm guessing they are made of aluminum? Can you post the weight of one of the frames please?

Whups, I see people posted here and are waiting for responses. If you have questions, the fastest way to get answers is to send me a PM. You will find that folks here have 100's if not 1000's of postings on E:S and one cannot monitor them all.

FYI the aluminum frame, with bottom bracket, front deralliur, axle bolt, grommits and padding, weighs 6.8 lbs.

17" sounds wrong. If you are big enough to clear a 26" frame but under 6', this should be a comfortable fit, and taller folks are riding them too. Tidalforce only made one size S-750, and since the frame was never sold separately, they never assigned a random "size" to it. As the late great Sheldon Brown pointed out, because of the wide variation in geometries, "sizes" are not a meaningful way to evaluate frames.

I received my frames, and I'm impressed with the quality of contruction and paintjob. The tubing is monster large on these frames...we're talking girth! My red frame came with 2 small scratches which I believe occurred during shipping, but I am not losing any sleep over it.

This is an excellent deal and I would recommend it. JD was a pleasure to do business with. Thanks for offering this! Anyone who has compatible components on their current bike should seriously look at these frames as an upgrade becuase they are schweeeet and have lots of potential for mods.

Here's some pics with a Motobecane Fantom Elite DS frame for comparison. The Tidal Force S-750 frame looks bigger, but its because of the angle at which the frames are positioned. They're just about the same size, but with different geometry.

I don't think I've ever mentioned it here, but I have a blog about building out my Tidalforce S-750 frame with parts I bought from JD (Oatnet) and Deerfencer1 on the TF Google group.

It details (almost) all of my work done with my TF from start to current status. After just having a larger crank installed so that I can pedal along better with the bike, I'm about to install the 72V controller and install the rear e-bikekit.com 500W motor along with disk brakes on the front and rear wheels.

Kevinator, great pics, thanks! I have been considering attempting a full-suspension build using one of those Motobecane frames.

Really sorry to hear about shipping damage to the red frame, that means my packing job was not adequate. Can you post a picture of the damage? I want everyone to see or hear about any irregularities, and maybe we can sort things out so you get it in the condition you paid for.

BTW folks, reminder that I am out of handlebars/stems. Also, I am almost out of brakes and chains. There are more than 80 folks riding one of these frames, I want to keep some for myself, so I only have @20 more frames/parts available for sale.
