Since I sold out of all (120) of the stripped version, this is the last way to get a new TidalForce frame, available in silver only. :D

oatnet wrote:COMPLETE, Factory-Sealed Tidalforce S-750 frames (not parts!)

So far (114) folks on endless-sphere are riding an ebike built using one of my stripped TidalForce S-750 ebike frames/parts. ( As seen here: http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=10748 ) The frames are purpose-built for ebikes, with channels inside the frame for wiring, a brace for the rear triangle, and a torque-arm mount. They also have connectors for disk brakes, V brakes, bottle mount, and rear rack mount. It also helps that they are very strong, very light, and a work of art from the welds to the paint job.

Maybe you wanted one too, but didn't want the extra hassle of buying forks and a headset and shifters, and then assembling all the parts yourself, or expense of having a bike shop do it for you? You are in luck, because I also have a few complete, assembled Tidalforce S-750 frames, factory sealed in the original boxes, available for sale.

By complete, I mean if you add wheels, you'll have a bicycle; if you added Tidalforce wheels/wiring/dashboard, you would have a Tidalforce S-750.

By assembled, I mean the the forks and cranks and gear system are all installed. There is minor final assembly required - putting on the pedals, inserting the seatpost, bolting down the handlebars etc. The pictures below detail what's inside - they are from 2007, which was the last time I unsealed one. You can see the packaging is excellent so I expect all frames to arrive in great shape. Unless you want me to unseal the box to verify condition, I only certify that they are packed as shown.

Anyow, I have sold so many of the stripped frames that I was able to move most of my TidalForce collection to long-term storage, and get rid of the expense of my local warehouse. I planned on keeping all of the Factory-Sealed "complete Frames" because they are unique and rare, but when I was done I just didn't have enough room for the last stack of them - so "f--- it" they are for sale. That means you have a chance to buy one of these rare, unmolested, factory-sealed ebike frames only $375 plus shipping/paypal. Both colors, Silver and Red are available.

Move fast, because when this stack is gone, good luck prying more out of me

==============================

Also for $60 you can round out your rear-hub-motor build with this accessory kit:

(1) New 26" Quick-Release front wheel
(1) New Durable Double Kickstand
(1) New OEM 7 speed cluster matching derrailiur

This is a tremendous deal for anyone getting into eBikes and wants to have a purpose built frame for ebiking.

The S-750 frame is as solid as solid can be yet still has a supple ride. The oversized tubes and super heavy duty rear triangle gives the bike great support for a rear motor. With all of it's strength, it is not a heavy frame and just exudes quality.

I also highly recommend Oatnet as a very honest reliable seller here on ES and really stands behind what he sells!

Postby thenate1 » Tue Apr 05, 2011 9:50 am

Late last week I contacted Oatnet about getting a couple of Tidalforce frames for myself and my wife. Before the end of the week he had them all shipped out and I got them yesterday. FAST SHIPPING!!!!

The frames are awesome! This is going to be a first class platform to build our ebikes! I am so glad that I started off my build right by spending a little more money than the Walmart bike I was looking at using for my base.

Here is the boxes (I ordered the front wheels and heavy duty kickstand)

Image

Here is the frame out of the box:

Image

And here it is with the handlebars, seat, and kickstand installed:

Image

My whole album can be found here if you are interested:

https://picasaweb.google.com/1073729665 ... directlink

I will start a build thread once I get the rest of my stuff from Cell_Man.

But I have to give this kit 10 out of 10!!!! First service and product class really!!! I got everything I needed in this kit except the back wheel (which of course comes with the motor kit I am getting). I am adding front disk brakes, rear rack for the battery and a few other odds and ends, but this is a really really really good value!!!!! I can't wait to get this baby running!!! Thanks!!!

Actually Ambrose, I thoroughly searched the forums about this frame before purchasing. And I saw your build thread and albums...in fact your Picassa album inspired me to try and document my build as well as you did yours. You were instrumental in my decision to buy this frame, so thanks a TON!!!!

I also really liked the "El Steak Super-Commuter" build thread. Thanks everyone for all the build threads - they have really helped me out in the decision process and I am sure they will help even more during the build phase :)

RVD purchased one of these from me, and has a build thread posted there:

http://www.endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=27525&p=399592#p399592

Image

He noted that there were some scratches on one side of his crank, as seen in the picture above. This is the first flaw I have had reported on the Full Frames, and RVD has been very very kind about it, but I figure I should add some form of disclaimer to this thread: These boxes are factory sealed, so I can't inspect them for defects like I did with the stripped frames. If something serious happens that renders the bike unusable I would make things right, but for cosmetic issues there isn't much I can do. The Boxes are in good shape and I haven't gotten any other reports from the others I have sold, so I expect this is an isolated incident.

RVD also reported that his durable double kickstand also had a scratch, which I CAN inspect and should have noticed. I offered a replacement or a $5 refund, but he declined both.

The S-750 was made in one size only. I have reasonably long legs (32" inseam) and I am comfortable, and I've had people up to @6' tell me they were comfortable, beyond that would probably be pushing it.

I'm 6'3" and definitely can't get by on the medium frames. Has to be at least 21" from seat tube to crankset, preferably 23". When it comes to buying bikes and leg room on airplanes I wish I was shorter. It's a good deal you are offering, though.

Yeah I would say that 6'3" is probably pushing it. These frames are equivalent to about 17 inches or so in terms of frame size. I would say that 6' is about the max on the high end.

I am 5'8" with short legs (30" inseam) and this bike fits me well. My other mountain bike is also a 17.5" for reference.

Also, regarding some of the scratches, they are really no big deal. The one on the crank is from inside the sealed box so there is obviously nothing that oatnet can do about that. It probably just comes from age and some misc. part in the box or something. The frame was absolutely flawless. The kick stand had a scratch but it's really nothing that doesn't come on the bike after a few weeks of use anyway. It's also on the kickstand...it's supposed to be scratched up since it's constantly rubbing against pavement, etc.

The best feature of this bike is the cabling through the frame.

Bump, (134) frames sold, but I still have a few left. :D

I also still have the durable double kickstand available for $30. Unlike other versions (such as the one from Crowe Cyclery) it has steel legs and feet instead of rubber ones that tear, it does not stick out far enough to hit the pedals, and it is wide enough to accomodate 2.5" Maxxis Hookworm.

Hi Oatnet,

I wanted to know about the size for the TF frame itself since I bought a TF frame from you last year. My girlfriend's height 5 ft tall and she struggle putting her leg over the TF's top frame. I hoped you have different size frame or not.

Let me know thanks

Update my TF ebike picture and I love TF frame! 8)

Your build looks great, and I love the old hub motor strapped to the rear rack!

My wife is 5' tall, so I know how hard it is to fit that sized human on a bike. The each model of the Tidalforce bikes came in only (1) size, but each model is a different size. I was able to fit her onto a Tidalforce IO Step-Through (women's) frame, combined with flipping the seatpost clamp upside down. Just went searching for a picture, but it was munched in forum "upgrade". I don't have any IO frames for sale, and I actually buy them up when they can be had at a fair price.

I also considered building her a Tidalforce S-750 frame with 24" wheels.

Only one size, Dang it, I looked TF IO Step bike on google, and it seems one most ugly frame. Isn't it?

I might buy one more TF S-750 from you again in future. 8)

I'm starting to get serious about preparing my summer builds, and it occurred to me that maybe you are too. I still have a handful of these complete frames left! :D

"Complete" means add wheels, and you'd have a fully functioning bike with gears and brakes. I've sold @140 of these solid, purpose-built ebike frames/forks to Endless-Sphere members, do a search and you will find tons of experience, tweaks, and mods around it. Like I said before I sold out of the 'stripped' version - this is probably your last chance to own one of these, before they are gone forever!
