Re: high quality flexible silicone cables and more - WORLDWI

Just finished counting , twice, i get 80 strands per bundle, for a total of 1440 strands of 0.07mm wire.

I have some 10awg here, and 12, will do those later if timer permits.. tomorrow at the latest !

I was supposed to send , oh god.. who was it now.... i think Texaspyro.. some samples of various types of cable i have and use, procrastinator king that i am.... have not done it yet.

He has very accurate and calibrated equipment to calculate resistance down to the rediculous decimal....

Not trying to be a threadjacker either, i honestly plan to buy a few 100ft of various gauges and colors of the stuff very soon, so i want to know who's got what...

gensem wrote:The wire is thicker compared to the same awg from turnigy, I have several gauges at hand so i can tell.
To be truth the 10awg turnigy looks like 11awg aside a 10awg Wojtek wire.
Im not saying turnigy is bad, its probably up for the task, but Wojtek wires are better.

so it's true they're thicker, i can't measure the wires because i haven't got any devices, it was just a feeling in my hand, when peeling i usually remove a lot of fibres along with the silicone, this time i peeled rubber only so the silicone is softer or the fibres are stronger.

Just a side note the 10g might not fit 4mm bullet housings.

viewtopic.php?f=31&t=32244&p=656241&hilit=6awg#p656241

6awg wire red or black per 1m 9EUR / 12USD/ 8 GBP per meter + shipping *LIMITED QUANTITY -> the price is quite high comparing to 8awg probably as it is not a common size and they don't produce much hence i only took few meters for testing and those who have high amp needs and want high quality flexible thick wires...

this is all clearance prices at costs - will not be getting anymore, trying to get rid of the remaining items before end of November as moving houses

correct 10awg won't fit 4mm, but will be good for 5.5mm / 6mm or XT150...

Hi Wajtek,

Do you still have any 8AWG in black and red?

I could use 4 meters of each

Best regards
