So we need a USA receiver for a shipment of 10 motors and then have them ship it out from there. So shipping charges will be from this central location to your destination.

$130 and ???

Thanks,
Ambrose

Thicker gauge windings = less resistance, harder on controllers but easier to keep cool. I also thought it might be fun in a moped rim at 132v  , maybe I should ship mine straight to JRH (JohnRobHolmes) for his DOT treatment. He has laced a bunch of ebike wheels for me, fine work, decent cost. Local bike stores just look at
me funny when I bring them hub motors.

On the 5300 serie.. it's the 5302 that had the highest copper fill.. same for the 5304..

So i would take a 5404 ( same copper fill as 5402(if they exist)

Guys.. about the price.. just remember that few years ago we was willing to pay 500$ for an X5 to ebikes.ca....

so if it end out to 450 otr 500$ shipped to our home.. it would be really interesting for a madmax motor like this!!!

no one realy pushed his limit from now..

on my 5303.. today i pushed 232A at 112V wich is 25kW for a new top speed to 113kmh GPS measured... the cotroller is still at 75% current

Now i imagine a motor with 33% more copper and magnet volume... OMG!!!

These 5404 WILL be the next coolest motor for abuse!!!.. no gear breaking... no belt breaking... no high pitch noise... just pure , simple and power and fun!!!!

I bet that i less than one week the 30 motor will be reserved!

No worrie Wojtek

i thought the optimum cross-product was 24 (3X8, 4X6, etc.)
saw no reason for the 5400 to be any different but thought i'd best check.

That is seriously twisted. Amazed that the motor can withstand such abuse, even for a short time.

There's no chance of one somehow getting to Aus is there?

Thought I might as well ask :)

If not I guess I'll just hide until the next Aus group buy thread shows up :|

Hey Cheeseboy, if it made it doable I might consider going in with you as well, and we could get them both shipped to you in Sydney, and I would get mine from you. Just throwing it out there in case that made it more viable.

if there is a good number of canadian orders (or AUS/NZ orders for that mater) could we look at splitting the final shipment into at least two different countries? For us shipping to the US and then up here is brutal, whereas it's infinetly cheaper and faster to not go through customs twice.

i don't see any problem with sending to australia. as said, it is possible to send the motor to your door directly from crystalyte factory.

all i need for now is how many people are ready to commit to buy and pay in advance.

all you need to know i guess, is the shipping cost. :?:

I gave an example of USA address to Kenny to calculate the shipping costs.
Another option is sea shipping if we get good number of motors. One of the members here offered his help to get the motors by sea.

I asked Kenny about possibility of getting a single speed 5404. to make the axle shorter to fit more standard 135mm bikes.
He said it would be possible but MOQ would be 50 pieces.

i was thinking the shorter axle lenght would encourage more people to get those motors...
