This is the company that builds the $2,500 car. I imagine this is considerably cheaper than the Volt. Will they get around to exporting cars to the U.S.?

wait a minute... a 13kWh LifePO4 battery and a 22kW motor + the rest of the car for 2500$ ??????????????????????????????????????????

No price mentioned for this vehicle. The $2500 price tag is for another car they released in India.

Not only do they make a $2,500 car that can only sell 1,200 units a month, but theu have a $4.6 million package available for it. No word of interest by the Dubai sheiks yet. Some has come to market with a $2,200 car, since there's an obvious need for competition.
