Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and would really like some help with my build.

Part List:
ESC: Turnigy Trackstar 1/5th Scale Sensorless 200amp 8s Opto Car ESC
Motor: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__18126__Turnigy_Aerodrive_SK3_5065_236kv_Brushless_Outrunner_Motor.html
Battery: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=14668
Motor mount: Enertion Single Motor Mount Pro Kit
Deck: Globe Geminon Blue

Will this all work together and is there anything else I need?

If you are going to buy 8s compatible esc maybe get two 4s packs?

Also you will need bec to power receiver.

Also that motor won't fit as it has 25mm bolts spacing. I recommend 63mm diameter motors. SK3 6354 or bigger.

Open picture in new tab if cut off.

I would no longer recommend the SK3 50mm. They are great motors no doubt about that. I use to run them daily.

However, Sk3 50mm are 6mm motor shafts. It took a long long time but I actually snapped one of the motor shafts off when hitting a pothole pretty hard at about 12-15mph. They also don't have keyways and you'll have to put in a flat spot for the motor pulley set screws.

You should also look into the VESC and/or the Sensored 12S ESC which I sell. For the chance of upgrading and from previous reviews on that ESC the VESC and one I sell are much better. Also will have 5065 170KV Sensored motors which will help you start without pushing.

I actually still have a few welded mounts that work with 50mm SK3's but only a few from previous batches. If you still wanted to go that route.

Good luck. Show some build pics!

I already bought the motor but I will return it and get this one I think: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__18184__Turnigy_Aerodrive_SK3_6374_149kv_Brushless_Outrunner_Motor.html
Would this ESC work: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__58448__Turnigy_Trackstar_150A_GenII_1_8th_Scale_Sensored_Brushless_Car_ESC_PC_Programmable_AU_Warehouse_.html
Otherwise do you ship to Australia?

Thanks for advice! I will get a 63mm motor and I think I might get this ESC: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__58448__Turnigy_Trackstar_150A_GenII_1_8th_Scale_Sensored_Brushless_Car_ESC_PC_Programmable_AU_Warehouse_.html
or the one torqueboards sells.
