Welcome to this thread and congratulations on picking up the SA Stealth agency.
Nice bike. Love the new up spec tripple crown forks. Forks even have the correct name for the bike![]()
Nicely detailed bike but not to sure on the flashlight style headlight. Kind of looks a bit out of place to me. Just my opinion though

My kits are gateway drugs to bombers for people with deep pockets

Mine is 12" !Hyena wrote:QMS wrote:The disc is an option and is a 10" unit. Stopping POWER
Nice! Where did you source those ?
Mine has a 9" disc up front which was the largest I could find. (got em from the zero electric motorcycles in the US)

Oh wait what were you comparing again?![]()
No seriously, I think they are an option - saw one in the factory on Friday.

voicecoils wrote:Cowardlyduck wrote:Voicecoils, did you use any lock tight on them screws when you put my motor back together?
Yes, a thin green thread locker should be on them. It's a wicking & does not make a permanent bond, some formulas do.
We use it on our eZee motors but perhaps your higher temps & more rapid heat cycling isn't helping. The factory thread lock is whiteish and thick/waxy.
Maybe try a high temp locktite like this:

I redid them with some standard red locktight from bunnings, we'll see how that holds.

QMS, nice ride there mate. Sure you'll only be using it as a 'Demo'? Looks like a keeper to me.
You realise you can get brighter (and probably cheaper) lights from this site that don't stick out so much.

I have this one. Very bright.![]()
TBH, I'm not one for keeping my Fighter terribly clean and 'nice' looking. It'll just get dirty again the next day as I ride mine soooooo much.
Cheers

I am new here and are working my way thought the 92 pages of posts. Trying to get me self up to speed before I take delivery of my New Bomber next week! Very excited!
Have been spending way to long on the net looking for accessories. After much deliberation I just ordered online the Magicshine MJ-856 Flood Mountain Bike Light. I hope it will shine out far enough.

The guy from Magicshine rang 5 minutes after I ordered to clarify my address, very helpful.
This is my first EV and I have about 50 questions for the group but will work on that later.
Cheers All

So have some brown Mr tuffys comming which are for 26 X 1.95-2.35, 2.5" tyres to start me off. once I get the bike I will look at tubless again. Does anybody have a good solution for thorn proofing the 3" tyres?

Acc to Stan it will work. Don't remove the existing rim tape. Get the Downhill Rim Strip or the kit and follow the instructionsMr Lowbank wrote: I asked John about a tubeless set up but he wasn't confident that it would work with the rim (some think about a 11mm slot machined in the rim for the oversized spokes).

It can get messy
I presume you mean 24" not 26"
Shoot a PM to Paul_G. He has done a lot work on making his Bomber as puncture proof as possible.

The links are in my post, or try LBS - just don't tell them it's electricMr Lowbank wrote: Where do you get Stan's Notubes

Kepler wrote:I tried to put a 7 speed on a mates Fighter without a derailleur to use the 11 tooth for better high speed cadence. The 7 speed fitted OK but the chain angle caused it to bind against the next gear up. Hopefully the derailleur will take car of that. I presume a 5 speed cluster with an 11 tooth isn't available. If it was, this might be worth considering just in case the chain angle is too much.
