Depends on the plastic, but Krylon Fusion is made for plastic and works on many.

Or stick shelf paper to it. Oughta be able to find a nice floral pattern for spring. 8) Perfect for a frock motor. Or bumper stickers. Get some custom ones about green made?
Nice build, love the battery box, nice idea.. 
Yes some sticky back plastic sheet will cover the box nicely, better not to show folks wires and packages in this day and age, good luck with the bike your going to have a lot of fun I am sure 8)

I used the krylon plastic paint that alanb suggested. It worked out great. I only painted the sides so far but its looking good.
Going from 15s to 12s is boring. I'm ready to go 18s but my ebikekit controller won't do it. Does lyen make a high power control that's the same size as the ebikekit control?

Probably so. Is it a 9 FET? Looks like you have a bit more room behind the seatpost, too, for a longer controller if necessary.

Nice build ! I am running an Ebikekit controller on 15s. It is probably pushing it but I read all I could and saw folks including MKeefer that was doing it ok. And I beefed up the shunt for approx. 35 amps. It rocks ( wheelies actually )
