Many thanks to Sonny from http://www.urbancommuterstore.com for stopping by to help install his mid-drive and do the fussy work.
He is truly committed to supporting his M-drive.

Also, thanks to Ben at Yuba for his support as well.

Additionally, Mr. Ping has been very helpful.

Very slick. Good to see that under-luggage rack area put to use :)
More info and detailed shots of the mid-drive would be cool.
Hmmm - also looks like interesting bars... got a shot of that setup?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... 5ZdbAGKJ90 video of the kit in action

It's the same mid drive I had on my yuba. I really liked it , but the mac motor did not like what I did to it.
Sonny is supposed to be getting me a custom dd motor I am going to try.

Ed feel like making anymore of those and if so any idea of cost ? I think id love to have a couple :)

Ah yes - those have been posted here before (here and here, for instance), just a bit hard to make out in the photo... Thanks!

Cooked, gears, or clutch?

Here's a shot of the handle bars.

I'll try to get better pix of the M-Drive. Lighting is everything.

You know my problem was mostly the noise. As I continued to cook the gears/clutch it continued to be more noisy. I bought a new mac 8t replaced
the other and at first it was fine , but eventually it was so noisy I did not want to use it any longer.

I have my whole kit sitting on my bench in the garage you want a picture of that or you wanting it together with the motor ?

No - thanks, though. I was just curious about your failure mode. Not to wander too far OT, but I'm running a MAC gear cluster in my front BMC and it's noisier and the clutch seizes while the BMC v4 'blue gear' cluster on the rear wheel just keeps on running perfectly. I think I'm going to pull the MAC cluster and go with a BMC - it was just an experiment, and I think I have the results... :(

Thanks for the pics - seeing the chains in place makes things much clearer :)
