nope, metric has different thread specs, you gotta know it. maybe you can put a collar in the middle and use bolts from each end into the collar to get the length you want, or does it have to screw into a threaded boss?

10 centimeters in length is a hair under 4-inches, right?

I will look at Fastenal and Graingers, since you already checked McMaster-Carr..

10mm are more common, you could get one and make sure it is go/no-go.

11mm is kinda off-beat... I do know, they are used on early watercooled vw cylinder heads. Those are long.

The thread pitch needs to be measured. (1, 1.25, 1.5 are common)

Any chance you could use a 10mm bolt and a spacer-sleeve from SDP-SI? or perhaps bore the wheel hole out to the next bigger size?

If you haven't got a definite idea on the screw's size, you might take it to a bike-shop. They won't likely have the item, but they will likely be able to identify the specs.

Cant believe its that hard to find a metric bolt in the U.S
I was at Coventry Fastners 2 days ago, could of picked you
up any pitch metric bolt you wanted in either
high tensile steel and/or stainless steel Lemme know
how you get on, if its a no go ill buy one for you and send it over :-)
