When you say SPL metering... DO YOU MEAN SOUND PRESSURE LEVEL METERING????

I used to use an oven and a paper bag coated in butter.

Interesting to see the DMM has luminance metering too, so with one meter you could check:

LED headlight output
Pack voltage
Controller frequency
Motor (or stereo) volume
Motor (or chicken) temperature

Bought metric tap and die set from Harbor Frieght. Forget which one? Used once and wore the threads off a tap. Junk Returned and got my money back. Bought single tap from local industrial supply place. Works fine.

Thats the thing with HF, the big question for me would be this- did the tap get you through that one use? Whats the cost per use versus the real industrial supply item? Sometimes even though it is junk, for hobbyists HF comes out on top in the cost comparison. Professionals are going to go with the fancy stuff that feels buttery smooth in their hands, lasts forever, and rightfully so.. my buddy has nothing but snap on. I'll use a few tools every other sunday.. It'd be ridiculous for me to go snap-on, but he makes his living as a mechanic so it makes perfect sense for him.

But I wonder about the high amp fuses...or rather I wonder about what you stick them in. Aren't ATC fuse holders rated at 20amps? I've seen pictures of melted ones, so I'm just wondering...
