24x2.3 tires

Postby Farfle » Wed Feb 01, 2012 12:55 am

Ok, bought these guys off Ebay for 35 bucks each, they are marked 24x3 but are actually about 2.2 - 2.3 inches wide, so they won't work for me. If anybody wants them ill sell them for 40 bucks + ship for the pair, would prefer shipping them in the us.

What (if any) manufacturer markings do they have?

They look very much like the tires I use on CrazyBike2's rear wheel. If they are, they're fairly sticky on the kart track down in Tucson, though they don't wear as fast as some stickier tires. Mine were originally from the Izip Cruiser I think, later resold as NOS by All Electronics.

They are fairly soft and grippy, but just not enough meat there to really race on. The brand is king tire iirc, it may be king wheel though

If it's King Wheel, then yes they are the same "brand" as mine (but mine are marked as 24 x 2.10")

I have the same tire and they are indeed king wheel and not 3.0, more likely 2.4
A decent 25mph bike will cost around $1000.
A decent 35mph bike will cost around $2000.
A $1000 35mph bike will get you killed.
Justin we really appreciate what you did!
