I would never work with batteries, especially those batteries on any steel table except that one, it doesn't conduct at all, cause it's been lacquered so many times. but anywho, I got the BMS set up today, but it's not working, all the cells are perfectly balanced, but the end of charge light doesn't turn green, so the meanwells just sit there floating at 100.8v. And why is it the more awesome a battery is, the more it looks like a bomb

can you talk a bit about the bms you have on there?

The bms is the ggoodrum/fechter zephyr lite, google it and you will find the sphere thread on it. And speaking of the bms, I got it working, right upuntil I plugged the meanwells into an improperly wired outlet that cooked 3/4 of them

Back to the Bottom Bracket that you posted about on page 1 with a nice picture.

You mentioned you lengethed it 1 inch.
Did you have to modify the cartridge/internals that connect the pedals?

I found a 100mm wide bottom bracket from here.

Looks great Farfle, I'll have to get a rearview mirror so I can see that thing in action. Take those shrouds off the forks and let that thing breath. How have you healed up from your accident? Gatorbrakes huh? I got those mounted on the front too, I'm wondering how they do, I expect a full review.

You better have a rear view mirror, want you to see me lapping ya . Pretty much all healed, rotator cuff takes forever to heal tho, And I have no idea how the brakes will work, will find out when I get out rolling

those gator brakes stop very well, just take a bit to seat the pads. No problem locking up the front with a 203mm or the 11.75" rear rotor I have on my 5303.

better stopping power than any other bicycle brakes I have ever used....

AAH! JRH! If you are still reading this, cancel my last order of spokes, i'm going to have to trade to a 20 inch wheel, so ill need different spokes, I left a comment in the order form.

So, the first wheel lace was attempted as a "luke" style lace, using some nice 14 awg ss spokes, and tensioned the heck out of it. Thinking that the little stretchy spokes all share the load evenly, and that if I break one spoke I have to break all of them . Well... They are all broken, well half of them are broken, the rest were just mangled.... Catastrophic horsepower induced wheel failure. It happened when I flogged it out of the parking lot at work, pulled a little wheelie and BAM wubwubwub crunch thankfully I was only going 5mph when the rear end hit the ground. Bike is fine, the motor diameter is a large enough diameter that the chainring didn't hit the ground. Waiting on rebuilding the wheel into a 20" rim with some 54mm 12awg spokes from JRH. Ill take some pics for you guys.
