tab mod 18 fet lyen

How is this procedure carried out? What exactly is this process? I have looked on the forums. Does anybody have photographs of this mod carried out? as the pictures on the original markcycle thread are offline

I've done it and have lots of pics and tips in the threads. Got the idea form Markcycle and he was really onto a great idea, it's an awesome upgrade if you take the time to do it right. I suggest using Nylon screws like I did in order to prevent an accidental short. My 18 FET has about 250 miles on it now, zero problems, up to 105A battery current, 125V.

Thanks. Could you post some close up pics of the 36 fet mods? high res ones if possible? What sort of performance did you end up getting with the slow gate driver on the 36 fet?

I should have the 36 FET installed this weekend for a test ride. Those are the only pics I'm going to host for now. I've never scoped any other controller to see if switching times are any better, my guess is they are all pretty similar because they all use a very similar design.
