48v pack DELIVERS 85,2V!!!

recently i v got a new pack 48v 10ah
i charge it and drive it
the pack did 20klm range (with the same bike i am making 45 klm with an 12 ah pack)
it delivers 85,2 full charged?????????
i opened it and ITS NOT the series to parallel conection wrong!!!!
EVERY CELL ITS ABOUT 5,4V should be 3,3 to 4,2?
any solution(exept the--dont buy from there again-)

It's still useful to those who haven't realized how bad the V-power battery is.

miuan, I believe the gentleman had to replace the 9V battery in his voltmeter and that made it read correctly. There appears to be no problem with either his bike battery or charger. This is something that could have happened to any of us and something to be mindful of.

correct. but sadly he's also getting merely half the range he's got with another battery. not sure about his speed, but he's riding at the same voltage, so the range should compare well.

THE LIPO RULES. NEVER ABOVE 4.3V NEVER BELOW 2.7V DON'T PUNCTURE

Ideal charging /discharging range for Lipo, 3.65v minimum 4.1v maximum

See battery technology section, FAQ thread at the top of the page for lipo noob info.

i am useing vpower bats for 2 years and i thing for the price are v good
as for my voltmeter its tele and its on the bottom of the device,also relible for 15 years,but with no bat 'doesnt work'
thank you for the kind 'and the other words'
and finaly i dont now how to delete the thread
maybe any admin can do so.

What type of cells are those? They look like A123 18650's

That many round cells and spot welds is enough to turn me off, but indeed, nothing wrong with the pack whatsoever.

Me, I'd crash the bike and pop some of the welds.
