

While running I read on my C.A. up to about 10 kw and after 11 km, I saw smoke get out from the motor.

While the real culprit was too high a voltage resulting in very low efficiency at that gearing (way too big a wheel for the given no-load speed), since he made it 11km then effective ventilation vs ineffective ventilation could have made enough difference to make help the motor survive that first test ride.
