I don't recomend a 15 ah ping for a controller over 25 amps.
30 amps x 48v = 1440 watts. And I predict a CA would see real world 1600w since "48v" runs at around 58v hot off the charger.
Hammer a battery hard and nothing happens if all 48 cells are perfect. But nobody has 48 perfect cells. What happens in reality if you hammer your ping is that one cell wears out much quicker than the others, and you get a 500 cycle battery instead of a 1000 cycle battery. The weak cell gets damaged, and when it dies, you now have 1/3 less capacity because of just one cell that died.
