I have a Shimano Derailleur with a hanger bolt like this:
shimano_b1a020fa8e1b5bda7ad9912fcb72854f.jpg

It's not long enough to go through the torque plate and frame. Here is a pic of where i want to put the torque plate:
torque_bike.jpg

Basically I think I need a longer bolt, but it's a strange Shimano bolt as you can see, with a thicker section near the head.
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas what to do here?

Dont know if you've solved this, but I had the same issue setting up myntrikes deraileur with these arms. If you mount the deraileur to the torque arm ( wont go through the frame), you can then use the deraileur adjustment to get it shifting again, even though its now 10mm further out.
Hope that helps!

Yes, pretty well.

really similar strengh as the 420, but the 460 have 60 minute work life and is optimized for magnet bonding.

Hello Mike,

According to my records, i shipped yours in the same batch as 5 others during the same week.

I'm sorry that you did not received them, and i guess they was maybe lost in the mail or that i could have made a mistake and have sent them to another member adress.

No worrie, I will ship you another set right on monday.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Here are some pic's with DRBASS torque arms. Thanks Doc these things are awsome!

And yes, I had to dremel the screw heads on the HS3540 to get the new Avid elixer 5 203mm rotors to not rub the caliper.(i need to touch up the grinds alittle)

Here is a link to a great place to get the DP420.

Thanks for the review rich!

The picture you showed give a real taste of how easy they can be mounted including the right side with the derailleur threaded hole that you seem to have used perfectly

excellent job!

Anybody install these on a Specialized Big Hit FSR? If so, how did it work out? Would prefer not to grind a lot of metal.

Doc,

Either you have the wrong address(or never had the address) or someone is stealing my mail (which I seriously doubt because everything that comes from Canada required a signature from me to pick it up) I have not received anything.

I have your adress and sent you a Pm anout that. i am sorry for the delay and i'm sure we can find a solution.

What is strange is that you said that you sent us payment ( to me and Method) for buying from us but that you not provided your adress? I just want to knwo why ? I did received your payment YES, and i have your adress in my record ( i sent you a Pm to you to doublecheck if it is ok)

you provided me your zip code for the shipping calculation too.

It is NOT everything from Canada that require a signature. I send them in an enveloppe so it's fast, cheap and air shipped as well. If i want a siganture i must charge extra shipping fee.

Please comeback to me by PM to verify if your adress is ok or not.

I sent twice them a set of T-A to your verified adress on paypal and you said you never received them.

I COPY the exact adress paypal have or the adress you provide and PASTE it on the label of the enveloppe containing the T-A so this is impossible that the adress is wrong unless the one people or paypal provide me is wrong.

I have issue a refund ( Date : 28 mar 2012 Hour: 12:05:56 PDT ) due to too much complication sending from Canada to your adress. This is sad but this is teh most profitable way now for us.

I have sent you T-A the exact same way as i sent dozens of T-A from now and that was received fine..

Anyway.. problem solved, no more time to loose with that for both of us.

I have lost two T-A set due to mailing service and you got refunded

I agree I got nothing against the T-A I know they are of excellent quality and would've loved to get em but the paypal transaction was getting near the 45 day limit so I had to act I couldn't wait another week. I even have the 3m epoxy that I order originally.
