Looks like a ~3AH 4S-6S turnigy goin' up in flames.

Yet another reason to now overcharge and then stab your RC lipos :)

The all-arounder: 8T MAC motor on a Trek 4500.
The girlfriend bike: 350W front MAC on a 700c Trek.
The wheelie machine: 20" Rear Magic Pie II on a Trek 4300 MTB
The Bus: ??? on a 'da bomb' cargo bike frame

Pro-tips for noobs: Avoid BMS Battery like the plague | Charge RC Lipos to 4.15v, stop discharging at 3.5-3.6v | Use torque plates/arms! | Rear mounted hubs are always best

Gotta love the way they did the first one inside, so they could huff the toxic smoke, and permanently contaminate the workshop with particles of god knows what. Burning pvc makes pcb's, but not sure what plastics are used in the lipo pack.

But they did learn, and took the next one outside.
THE LIPO RULES. NEVER ABOVE 4.3V NEVER BELOW 2.7V DON'T PUNCTURE

Ideal charging /discharging range for Lipo, 3.65v minimum 4.1v maximum

See battery technology section, FAQ thread at the top of the page for lipo noob info.

lol yeah... that's just what i was thinking. They will probably develop a yet to be named lung disease within a few years from breathing in all of that.

If you ever have a battery fire, of any chemistry, the first thing to do is GTFO :P
