I did not miss your point, I just did not react to it. I actually fully agree with you, and I have asked many a question myself here and received wonderful responses.
There are many many forums now on the net about the most varying topics. Some of them are not active, a lot are generating thousands of reactions each month. Like in "real life" the people there are making the difference. I have found the people here wonderful and willing to help. One could also say "more mature" than in some other forums.
I agree that it is important to keep this going. I am very happy someone else is taking care of the spammers. And at this moment, I am happy to try and answer questions if I know some of the answers. I have found my own learning curve pretty steep (one year ago I did not know the difference between a geared and a DD motor, not to mention what a midmotor is). And a steep learning curve also means you can help others quicker.
