For that motor, would'nt DrBass torque arms be the best solution? I think it would be something worth looking into.

What do you need the hall sensors for? Does it not come with them already installed? Or are you just wanting spares around in case you burn them up? ;)

-bike (got one in mind?)
-batteries
-- hvc/lvc boards
-- discharge/charge harnesses of hobby king 10g wire, jst-xh extensions, lots of bullet connectors
<Electric Brake Levers> - you'll need awesome hyrdaulic brakes cause you're building a motorcycle, and $15 brake levers won't work w/ hydro brakes
- lights

Whats the top speed that you want?
For a 18fet stock controller I think the one with 4110 fets is a better choice.
A decent 25mph bike will cost around $1000.
A decent 35mph bike will cost around $2000.
A $1000 35mph bike will get you killed.

Don't have a bike in mind yet, for the batteries I'm getting one custom made from uncle that works at electrovaya if possible. The type of battery is a Lithium Ion SuperPolymer Cell. Does anyone know where I can get good hydraulic brakes? For the top speed I'm not to sure about. Just want it nice and quick. Not sure which controller your talking about. Is it the 12 FET 4110 MOSFET Extreme Modder Controller LYEN Edition $129?

Shimano makes excellent hydraulic disk brakes, but a good pair of hydraulic disk brakes will cost you a lot of $$

It's worth checking out pinkbike.com
Got most my used bike parts from there and at good prices. Could also look at what they got for bike frames if u don't mind some gentle used stuff.

You would be better off with a 12fet 4110 controller than an 18fet 4115 controller.
For ebike parts, don't be a douche, buy from http://www.ebikes.ca or http://www.MethTek.com

I agree (mostly), go with an 18 FET 4110 controller and enjoy it without worrying.

If you are willing to match FETs, setup buss bars to connect each bank and improve the traces and 18 FET 4115 controller can be awesome and handle quite a bit of power, my 36 FET version I built is much more impressive than my 18 FET, but these are mods you have to take on yourself. Several people are chasing high voltage setups without knowing all the details involved and I'm seeing more posts about popped controllers in the last few months and I don't know why. No need to make your life difficult and you better be ready for the consequences of high speed on a bicycle if something fails. The IRFB4115 FET is a good FET if you treat it right, but it's a custom deal at that point. Wheel size matters a lot too. Not sure how well my 18 FET 4115 controller would do with a 26" wheel running 100A, it might not be as reliable under the extra stress, but I never tried.

When I use to ride my bike almost all of my riding was under 35mph.

let me save you some money.

quanshun Ltd motor (aka hubzilla) $210 + $54 shipping.

36 fet 4115 150v 120A http://www.aliexpress.com (talk to leo) $188

$4 torque arm from mcmasster mccarr.

your price: 595 + 54 + 199 + 25

could be

Alright, Which one would you guys recommend for batteries http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... _15C_.html or http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... ouse_.html I would want to go with the nano tech but cost more. Is it worth it to save up to get the nano tech one instead of the Zippy one or would you recommend something else?

I get my motors from greyborg in croatia. You also have no clue as to what you are talking about or how business with china works. I would never buy stuff from China direct, i know some motor buyers who get screwed repeatedly dealing with china suppliers, thats why im a distributor. I dont have to worry about dealing with china suppliers screwing me over.
Btw you have the supplier of motors wrong yet again. You should just give up as you do not know what you are talking about. If you did you wouldnt be trying to coerce me through pms into selling you a motor for WAY less than i pay for it.

Go ahead order a bunch of these ??? motors and try to sell them. I would love to watch the comedy unfold. You dont have what it takes.

Not true, as far as I can see, in fact it seems you're just trying to stir things for no good reason. I've spent a couple of hours looking at the sources you suggest, yet haven't yet found anything close to the motor that Greyborg/Zelena vozila has had made. We all know that the motor comes from China, and is a scooter hub motor that has been adapted to fit to a spoked rim capable hub. We also know that Hal, Accountant etc did all the work to get these specials made, and that they, in turn are supplying Zombiess with motors, that he is reselling in the US.

Those of us in Europe can buy these modified motors directly from Zelena vozila (Accountant on here, see: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20321&p=509310#p505113) in Croatia, I believe, at €400 plus EU shipping. Those in the US are better buying from Zombiess, as there's less hassle with US shipping, duty, taxes etc for them that way.

If you want to buy a big scooter hub direct from China silverrich, machine up a new case, test it and fit it to a wheel, go ahead. Most of us would be happy to pay for someone else to do this work and either buy from Zelena vozila or from Zombiess, depending on where we are on the planet.
Please ask questions on the forum, rather than by PM, as it helps others and you'll get a better range of answers.

Count me out. The machining does not cost $400 for a $210 (Total) motor in moq's of 40. and no I want a fair deal. I don't want to pay $595 for something I can get 10 of + sea shipping for £1200.
I don't enjoy paying triple for motors I can get for 1/3.

why are you getting so mad? now that you know... the secret's out...that these motors come out at $210/unit, you should look into getting them for cheaper, and offering them for less... unless ofcourse...you've 'not got' what it takes. tough talk? I question how deep your pockets are and whether they're more important than finding out the validity of what i say!
'I got the manufacturer wrong' again? yeah i've got a real problem with that
no bud, I went, and found out 'how much is it' to get one of these motors, from china...for myself... To see what your mark up was. (risk's part of it)
I wanted to buy one. Until I found out the triple up.
I don't think I'll be buying one of these '150mm' diameters after all, that is their only advantage..this can be machined by the manufacturer. I would prefer to get mine off http://www.aliexpress.com
or http://www.dhgate.com
just look for 'spoked hub motor'.
