Throttle hall sensor

Postby goinmobile » Thu May 31, 2012 4:55 pm

What is the model number for the Honeywell 0-5v throttle sensor? The moisture resistant ones. Chip has 2 angled sides, typical cheapo after market throttles.

I have searched, advanced, I know LFP wrote on this, don't remember the date. Luke spoke of not confusing hub sensors with throttle in the same posting. Search gets hits with numerous Honeywell numbers.

Out of patience, down 2 days, started with dropping bike, broke throttle stem & sensor off, on & on...got any beer?

If you know both numbers for hub & throttle please post, or the reference. Thanks.

Searched "throttle hall honeywell", mostly hub sensors, can't find the right terms. Tried authors & various key words = hubs. Is the advanced search finding all the posts or has the search been altered to not get results?

dnmun states Honeywell SS495 in a Mar 17/11 post. I recall other posts contradicting Honeywell numbers, may have been about slot shapes or brand of the housing. Getting the type right, the correct function of the sensor, them the shape/size correct for a least two different insert slots in the housings.

Looking in digikey does help, tells ya there are lots to get wrong.

This is an international order, so returning isn't practical, get it right.
