I am very dissatisfied with HK Battery Monitor 2-6S (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... _2_6S.html). They are extremely inaccurate. I'm now looking for something better with the data logging ability.

Questions:
1) Are you satisfied with the voltage accuracy of the above Cell-Log?
2) What (if any) features/functions you like the least?
3) Would you buy it again?
4) Is there a better product in that price range (around $30)?

Thanks.

Great device, I started with M versions but this year went with S version from EPBuddy and it's awesome to record cell voltage curves during rides. Accurate enough for me and will read 1S up to around 40V I believe? Built a simple test lead and often use it as a handy pocket volt meter.

Yep Cell logs are cheap and mine seem to be accurate. I fried one with reverse polarity on a single cell reading. Oops! Otherwise great.

I got the hyperion pack sentry. It shows the cell voltage one by one total pack voltage to 7s and % of difference of high and low cell. It was 13usd. but would like to see all cells voltage at same time. It's O.K. Needed something.

I have 2. (8s) wouldn't be without them. voltages readings agree with my DMM. Use the LV alarm facility attached to a flashing red taillight to provide me with discharge protection.

Yep celllogs work fine. They don't take kindly to being thrown in a bag with heavy items as the display is quite easy to break though.

I like them to. I have 5 cellogs and everyone is working as excpected so far.
And you can adjust them to bee more accurate so that is no problem either.

I have found the single cellog 8 that i have to be more accurate than my cheap chargers. So it's good for me.

As I've said many times though, I don't care about accuracy to .01v. I'm happy enough that however much my cellog is off, all 8 channels read the same compared to each other. So for my purposes, noticing if a cell is .05 off and doing something about one when it gets near .1 off, the cellog has been my tool to have.

Next time I have an order off to a place that sells em, I plan to buy several more.

One feature I really like, is that while bulk charging a pile of paralelled packs, you can put a cellog on the balance wires, and it will start beeping if a cell is overcharging. 8) So I want more of em, so I can put one on each pack as I charge 4 packs at a time.
THE LIPO RULES. NEVER ABOVE 4.3V NEVER BELOW 2.7V DON'T PUNCTURE

Ideal charging /discharging range for Lipo, 3.65v minimum 4.1v maximum

See battery technology section, FAQ thread at the top of the page for lipo noob info.

Thank you all for sharing your experience. This is great, no complaint at all (except for the easily broken display).

I highly recommend the Celllog that will also log data while actually riding your ebike. I plan to post my data graphs using the A123 20Ah cells & also with my LiPo too. We need more actual in-use data from the field, and this is "the man" the celllog man for that job we need the data from.

Another very cool feature using the Celllogs is it will work with Fechter's current limiter to shutdown the bulk charger if the Celllog detects a weak-high cell going "hot" at HVC. 8)
