My ultra-sufficient semi-recumbent tricycle project

whelp... good news (at least for me)
the 1010b runs directly off the panels (17.5V) and is sucking as much power as the panels are putting out, thereby making the 1010b a suitable substitute for the MPPT

And another executive decision (that may or may not change each day)
I will load the media cases with only 8 5S 5000ma batteries for 20Ah packs

...and the current supplied to the 1010b from my panels just dropped below 10A

eventually it shall come to pass, 3 black cases each carrying a 36V 20Ah pack for those slightly longer trips.

In the background is MT#2 still in "kit" form.

I re-porpoised a crappy steel roll-around shelving unit that appeared wouldn't work what it was designed for anyways.

all indications that indeed, I just paid more for less.

yup
these batteries are a complete waste of money when compared to the Turnigy 5S 5000ma 20C batteries.
But I got'm and I'm gonna haf'ta use'm (de-rated for ~4.8 Ah per battery)
19.2Ah for two bat boxes and 20Ah for one bat box for two MT's

-don't waste your money like I just did.

too celebrate my one month of healing I rode about 40 miles yesterday
-no pains today
so I'm once more back in the drivers seat.
I'd say "saddle" but I sold that trike.
