Main stream enclosed electic MC to debut in US in 2014

Most likely too good to be true but judge for yourselves. Its a San Fransisco company so its looking good for DOT compliance http://technabob.com/blog/2012/05/22/lit-motors-c-1-ultra-mini-car/ http://litmotors.com/c-1/...

I hope they sell a ton. I am looking forward to being able to go scrounging for cells in junkyards. And no I don't wanna go looking for a delta v cell now.

    !000w hub motor issue

Quite a few people on here have that 1000 watt rear wheel kit from yescom. One guy Wesnewell has that motor and knows every wire and connection in it. You could have searched yescom on the forum and looked at the post. If you have the time and a camera you can get any technical question...

    lifep04 from HK

I was just looking at those again myself. 30c out of lifepo4 sounds pretty good. But as usual no disclosed cycle figures from hobbyking. The live chat with a representative wasn't the right place to ask. You are now chatting with : Cheryl (Customer Service) Cheryl: Thank you for contacting...

    30AH 2000 cycle 20c pouches

Well if he doesn't want someone to see the brand and create competition for himself then covering it up with the yellow label makes sense at least from his point of view. If I was the first to bring it in I wouldn't want people to know where I was getting it from either. Those cells have some...

    30AH 2000 cycle 20c pouches

I was searching the web last night and didn't see them, when searching "large format batteries" - and they were top of the results this morning. Odd that there was a pouch bigger than the 20ah 123s other than the dow kokams and no1 here was talking about it. If it wasn't for the fact that it...

To nano-tech or not to nano-tech

I've looked for stats on the cycle life and calender life for the nano techs and have seen other ppl ask too, never seen an answer though, well other than a vague "double the cycle life over standard li-poly". Double what exactly the 200 something the regular turnigys are supposed to get or...

    Hub motor rewind hs60

Possible with a bench drill and a stable hand you could shave a constant amount off the inside edges of the stator allowing you to fit more winds. I don't know if more winds would be benificial or not or whether it would throw the stator out of balance. And as far as banding the 2 stators...

    Re-winding a hubmotor

Would there be any benefit of replacing the stock magnets with stronger magnets? Seems like they would react stronger to the coil fields in the stator and create more torque. Would this then require advanced timing? You could possibly even go with a thicker magnet thickness is you were willing...
