DIY Fix for BBS02/BBSHD Pedal/Throttle Issue

First: thanks for creating this thread for this fix! I have a bbshd I want to modify as explained. I have allready som transistors laying around: i.e. c547b and bc107b. These have a lower base-emitter "on" voltage (0.5-0.7v). Will these work?

Cycle Analyst CA3 + TDCM torque sensor issues

Hi and thanks for your reply! I think the the torque sensor is installed ok and works ok. Torque sensor voltage at no pedal force is 2.48V and max pedal force is approx 3.78. With a torqscale setting of approx 30Nm/V (is it should be) gives expected live torque readings: from 0 to approx...

Cycle Analyst CA3 + TDCM torque sensor issues

Hi all! I have experienced some strange behaviour using the Cycle Analyst V3 with a TDCM torque sensor. I hope someone can help! Here are some general details: -Three wheel cargo bike. Dual (front) motor drive: Golden Motor Blt800, chain drive) - 2x Grinfineon 35A controllers -external CA3...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Does anyone know if these controllers (with this software) will work fine also for non-hub motors like the GoldenMotor BLT-800? I have a three-wheel cargo bike with two of these motors (dual motor: two front wheels). For the moment I am using the goldenmotor "cruise" controllers for these...

Problems with programming Golden Motor controller

Thanks a lot for your reply punxOr! I thought plug braking was actually reversing the motor - and then I would expect current going from the batteries, but there is no current at all when the motors are braking.. Anyway, I have started to look for other controllers. Maybe the grinfineon is an...

Thanks for the advices casahino! I will consider that if I cannot get my infineon to behave.. I tested a bit more and found someting strange: regen torque is much higher when the wheel turns backwards...! Anyone know what is wrong?

Locking clutch/freewheel in geared hub motor for regen?

Thanks for the link casainho! Looks like it is a lot of interssting information on that site! I must admit I am a dummy especially when it comes to software and computers:-/ So if this open source software does not have a very simple interface, I might have problems using it;-) Does this...

Locking clutch/freewheel in geared hub motor for regen?

I contacted em3ev and they sendt me a fixed plate "clutch" from the MAC producers (see attachment). The bike works fine with the fixed plate, and very little drag. But the regen current could been higher (approx 4A at 55V). I use infineon 9 fet 3077 controller and have programmed it using the...
