Small Brushless More Powerfull compare to Big Brushless motor ? Help me to understand

This youtuber made very good video about that issue: I agree to friends.

Aluminum Wire Wound Resistors for Load trials

I created some resistive load groups with aluminum resistors to force my motor driver. One friend of mine got a little scared me that these resistors could explode strongly if I used higher than listed watts. Is this true? For example, if I pass a 1000watt resistor in the group in the picture...

    VESC STR-500 100V 500A Launched

I just came across it, I think it was shared today or these days. The values are enormous! What are you thinking? I would love to see the mosfet control section:) https://trampaboards.com/vesc-str500-100v-500a--p-35876.html

    High Current Switches...

Thanks! This type I am finding, I will measure it's resistance.. :) I don't know why companies not making miniature type high current switches... It may be machined with different designs... :/

    High Current Switches...

Hello friends, I am curious that what switches you are using at projects, I will use it for 150A peak 40-50A continous current needed motor driving system. At digikey most switches are mostly 20A rated.. https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/nkk-switches/S31-CUL-WL/13548176...

Please recommend me a 100V FET for the Bafang G510 controller

Do you plan to change all isn't? Otherwise they can make unbalanced electric loads.. I looked the values and they are generic values actually not best of best.. Did you looked to Digikey? With digikey's parametric filtering you can find good value ones..

Hall BLDC Variable Timing Advance Alghoritm?

Hello friends, I am still on journey of homemade PSOC based Hall BLDC motor driver here: https://endless-sphere.com/sphere/threads/my-brushless-design-for-hall-effect-type-motors-looking-for-suggestions.119183/ Now I am testing with many motors and faced that timing issue that some motors turn...

    Workshop Suggestions for prototyping

For workshop development: - Oscilloscope (4 Channel would be good choice) - Logic Analyzer For signal analyze and measuring cycle times.. - DC Current Clampmeter (I use Habotest HT208D very accurate) - RPMmeter is not needed but it is good to have. - Microohm meter (...

My Brushless Design for Hall Effect Type Motors, Looking for Suggestions

I wanted to add little update. I modified with WCS1700 sensor, it works well as planned for now. But current signal is noisy as usual. My one cycle time is now like 50uS. At one cycle I can measure VBus, Temperature sensors and Current sensor analog inputs and update PWM signal if change...

My Brushless Design for Hall Effect Type Motors, Looking for Suggestions

Thanks! Very good ideas. And I made turned on optimiser, it changed. And yes I was making float calculations which is not supported as default. Though float variables, bloats the code also but I didn't know it can affect cycle time. Learning from good experiences :) I changed current sensor...

My Brushless Design for Hall Effect Type Motors, Looking for Suggestions

My fault, switch node to ground yellow components are MOVs (28v rated), not capacitors. as they use same pattern it looks like caps :) I should add also RC snubber placements for next update. At these design i paralled mov and tvs for each swtich node. It is true that at current sensor reading...

Can you run this BLDC motor backwards?

Yes it can be reversible, from images it looks like basic hall sensored motor. Timing can be optimised at coding or maybe modifying motor inner structure (repositinoning hall sensors little).

Rigol 4 Channel MSO5104, Do you recommend?

Hello friends, I received good price for Rigol MSO5104 model at distributor. It also comes free with MSO5000BDN upgrade functions. It has power analysis function (Built-in power analysis MSO5000-PWR). I am thinking to buy as it is 4 channel, that can help for better diagnostics at ESC design, I...

My Brushless Design for Hall Effect Type Motors, Looking for Suggestions

Hello friends, I'm very new to the forum, but I wanted to contribute a little and share the project's changelog and get your valuable friends' ideas. I design mostly brushed motor drivers, controllers for years and trying brushless motor designs, that design is my 4th attempt and at every...

    How Safe this TVS Diode?

Yes, actually I made exactly same thing.. Here my design board uses 6 x Mov (Red marked components) and 4 TVS. I designed this board for combat robots and afraid of all motor inductive kickbacks.. That TVS and Mov paralleled, but I need to control voltage levels of which is lower... Usually...
