Okay, I have the dc-dc converter, I no longer am using the precharger I bought….just the precharger resister on my contactor….but I’m now confused on where to tie in the dc-dc converter into the standard wiring diagram. I have an idea, but any chance you could throw it onto the schematic like...

    Charger blow out

my motorcycle project was up on a jack while working on it. I left it to buy an item and wait for it mid-project. Things weren’t buttoned up, but I didn’t think anyone would mess with it in the couple days it would take to get my item in the mail. While I was gone today, though, my husband...

    Trouble Shooting 2-2 error code

Thanks. I’ll dissect this response tomorrow. I think you may have nailed it. I did end up getting a different contactor from the previous response and got much further (thanks!)….then I took about a…errr…3 year break from it? Oi! Anyway, thanks for your help! I’ll see what comes of it tomorrow!

    Trouble Shooting 2-2 error code

Also, this is on my e moto build that Im making. I got a notification that the message was moved from the e-moto builds forum. I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew it wasn’t a pre-existing/finished moto. I’m building it, which I’m sure is why I’m getting the fault…I just don’t know how...

    Trouble Shooting 2-2 error code

I'm getting a 2-2 error code on my Kelly Controller when I add my head lights to the accessory wire. The motor works correctly when the lights are not added in. The lights work correctly when they are added in, but the motor stops due to the fault. The manual describes the 2-2 error code as an...

I don't get it (controller voltage issue?)

Hi, I am converting my moto and I have this Kelly Motor (https://kellycontroller.com/shop/kls-8080h/). Every thing works fine when I'm performing the "angle operation" and I have that wiring set up. But when I switch the wiring back to the normal wiring diagram the following happens. My on...

Okay. Sorry, a few days have passed between posting and seeing your replies. I'll do the wiring diagram drawing (of what I did) as recommended, and get the other detailed info you all requested. As long as I didn't nuke all of my components, then I think you all are the folks to help me figure...

    Need Help Problem Solving

I'm a beginner when it comes to playing with electricity--but I like it a lot. I'm attempting to convert an old moto to electric and have been working on it for a while. I've been stuck for the last year (obviously, I don't work on it very often), but I'm tired of not knowing what to do to get...
