My solution is to use a separate button for regen. I just use regen for speed control going down long steep hills, and use the normal brakes for stopping or any unusual braking situations. I live near the top of the worst hill in my area and I can avoid regen until after the pack voltage drops...

But the MP3 comes with bare wires for the power wires, at least mine did. Golden Motor's wiring diagram for the MP3 also just shows bare wires for the power wires. Do they just include Anderson connectors if you also buy the battery from Golden Motors??

That sounds like your calculation was for the RPM of the output shaft? IIRC the Cyclone motor gearbox reduction ratio is 9.3:1, so motor RPM would be 6789 RPM if all my guesses were correct?
